The Global Culture Lead will report to the Director of Global Corporate Operations. The Global Culture Lead (GCL) will:

Create and execute One Acre Fund’s culture strategy
•Lead a large, organization-wide project to create the One Acre Fund Culture Code. This will involve outlining a plan for the project, engaging with staff across the organization to understand One Acre Fund’s culture, synthesizing findings into recommendations for leadership, and creating and communicating the final deliverable.
•Create sustained programs, practices, and expectations coming out of the Culture Code Project to foster an inclusive, sustainable working environment consistent with One Acre Fund’s values.
•Set, achieve, and communicate culture and D&I KPIs.

Serve as the organization’s “go to” resource on culture
•Set D&I strategy with the Corporate Operations Director and global leadership.
•Manage in-country Diversity Leads to implement global D&I initiatives in-country. This involves running monthly meetings with the Leads in which they share feedback from their countries and you inform them of global activities.
•Streamline communication and collaboration among D&I stakeholders (senior leaders, country leadership, People leaders, etc.) to optimize One Acre Fund’s D&I engine.
•Provide subject matter expertise, thought leadership, and partnership with managers and People Division leadership.

Complete other projects related to culture
•Manage and implement pipeline of projects to improve work/life balance. For example, you may be responsible for a project to increase adoption of mindfulness practices across the organization.
•Coordinate the Inspiration Working Group, a team of representatives tasked with helping our in-country teams celebrate successes and feel inspired by our mission. Work with Working Group to implement global inspiration initiatives in-country.
•Improve current staff onboarding program to optimize this opportunity to instill One Acre Fund’s culture into new staff.

•Demonstrated ability to self-direct while also working with others at all levels of an organization.
•Ability to continually analyze and evaluate processes and programs and to create innovative and strategic improvements.
•Strong written/verbal communication skills, including the ability to frame messages and clearly share priorities.
•Ability to deliver results in a highly dynamic and potentially ambiguous situation.
•Facilitation skills, including the ability to create safe spaces and solicit candid feedback from diverse groups.
•Willingness to travel regionally about 25% of the time.
•Language: English required. French, Swahili, or Kinyarwanda are plusses.
