Job Description

The fundraising team have an ambitious five year strategy to grow income from £2 million to £6 million. Much of this growth will come from events & community fundraising. This new role works closely with both the Events & Community Fundraising Manager and the Senior Events & Community Fundraising Officer to ensure that growth is achieved. We are looking for a skilled administrator to join our team and help us make a positive impact on the lives of all those affected by mental illness.

This Role Involves:

Acting as a first point of contact for anyone interested in taking part in an event for Rethink Mental Illness and taking potential participants from initial enquiry through to taking part in events.

Taking responsibility for ensuring the delivery and execution of an exciting calendar of fundraising events.

Working to increase participation in events and community fundraising by engaging with the public to grow both awareness of Rethink Mental Illness, but also to increase participation in events and therefore grow income.

The Successful Candidate Will:

Have experience of working in events fundraising campaigns or events management.
Have experience of administration tasks, e.g. contacting organisations via email and speaking to third party businesses/ organisations on the phone.
